The 2C Condos, developed by Ron Stallings/Walker Row Partnership, was another well crafted conversion in Eastern Jackson Ward helping to revitalize the 2nd Street (‘Two Street’) corridor back to its glory days as an arts and entertainment district within Downtown.
The 2C Condos were built in an industrial minimalist manner but finished with modern touches for a true industrial chic feel in a non-industrial neighborhood. They sold well.
With other Walker Row projects surrounding the building (The 212, Studio 516, The Hippodrome Project), a node of re-development on the western border of the Convention Center and the Richmond’s stunningly successful BioTechnology Park has been created paving the way for the return of Jackson Ward to its former status as an integral and thriving neighborhood within Richmond.
