Warehouse 201 (sometimes referred to as the Cheek Neal Building) is a mixed use warehouse renovation (14 residential and 3 commercial spaces) that was one of the first projects in Manchester’s industrial district upon Historic Designation of the neighborhood in 2002. The development group (headed by Property Results/Sam McDonald) saw potential in the building and in Manchester and crafted a project that was decidedly industrial and authentic to the fabric of the neighborhood.
It opened the flood gates (figuratively, of course).
When the neighborhood was designated historic in the early 2000’s, the neighborhood had <20 residential addresses. By the end of 2012, the number will be in excess of 1,000. This number could be 2-3x in the next 3-5 years as W201's gargantuan neighbor, the Reynold's South Plant, gets redeveloped.
“For Sale at Warehouse 201 and Elsewhere in Manchester”
The Cheek Neal Building itself has an interesting history as it was originally built by the makers of Maxwell House Coffee (think ‘Good to the Last Drop!’) The views of Downtown and the River are truly spectacular from 3 of the 4 sides of the building giving all residents a powerful vista and tons of natural light.
