The Gotham Condos are located in the heart of Downtown at 1205 E Main Street near the “Iron Front” block and just steps from Shockoe Slip.
Gotham, in many ways, launched the condo craze in the historic areas of Richmond’s Downtown neighborhoods. REO Enterprises purchased the building with the intent of creating a true urban living option that was completely lacking in the Richmond marketplace.
Many in Richmond thought they were crazy…but in retrospect, they were rather visionary.
Gotham has held up well despite a series of next generation condo projects that offered ever increasing levels of finishes and amenities. The residential development in the area is still not as prevalent as it is in other blocks making Gotham a little isolated from nightlife and weekend pedestrian traffic.
