The Fan Gallery is a 20+ unit mixed use condo project along Broad Street in Richmond’s Fan District.
The building was a car dealership originally (I was told it was a Cadillac dealership but that is unconfirmed) and it was developed in an industrial style. Industrial buildings of this ilk typically have high ceilings and large windows and The Fan Gallery has both. It is unique as buildings with theses features tend to be located in the industrial areas of Manchester or Scott’s Addition…not along Broad Street.
It features parking on the adjacent lot to the east and has several commercial condos at the street level. It was developed by Monument Construction, who developed many successful condo projects throughout the city including the Cary Mews, The Ambrata, The Hamlet Cleaners, Summit Lofts, The Sydney and 1630 Monument.
