VCU is broken down into two separate campuses:
- VCU Monroe Park. All VCU Condos Listings are here. (the projects close to campus are below)
- VCU Medical School/Health Center
The Monroe Park Campus, located along Belvidere and bordering the neighborhoods of The Fan, Oregon Hill, Carver/Jackson Ward and Monroe Ward is the far larger of the two. Approximately 15-20% of the housing necessary to accommodate the student population is provided by VCU, itself. The large majority of the student housing absorbed yearly is provided by a mix of privately owned apartments or houses close by. Included in the mix are single family homes, condos and the occasional duplex that may be owned by a parent of a student attending the university.
